Carer Measures

HowRthey is a short generic staff or carer-reported measure of need and risk. Carers, family or professional staff can use howRthey to record the level of need and risk for people they care for, to enable prompt identification of change and trigger timely effective intervention.

The Carer Wellbeing Score measures carer wellbeing in four ways: overall satisfaction, worthwhileness, happiness and anxiety. It is based on ONS personal wellbeing questions.

The Carer Confidence Score measures of carer confidence in terms of knowledge, ability to manage the work, access to help and involvement in decisions.

Carers perception of the service provided, including kindness, listening and explaining, promptness and organisation.
